Product Description
Since childhood, the lion has long held a special place in my heart. Watching (and later reading) the Chronicles of Narnia by Lewis, enjoying films such as the Errol Flynn ‘Robin Hood’ and reading of Christ – the Lion of the tribe of Judah in the book of Revelation – all left a lasting impression of the lion being the most majestic and regal of creatures. I recently drew ‘Majestic Lion’ to try and capture the wild beauty and majesty of the lion and to do it in a way that echoed the various forms that gave me a love for the king of beasts over the years. The artwork is a pen and ink drawing – one of my favourite mediums. I hope that it will stir up similar memories and connections for you as it does for me.
