Product Description
This particular species of Cicada has red eyes and translucent wings with orange veins. It spends most of its life underground feeding on fluids from the roots of deciduous trees in eastern North America. In the spring of their th or th year, mature cicadas emerge and are active for about 4 to 6 weeks. Within two months of the original emergence, the lifecycle is complete and the adult cicadas disappear for another or years.
